Free Will, Newton, Discussions Points
Let us consider Newton's 1st Law.
Law : An object at rest tends to stay at rest
and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and
in the same direction unless acted upon by a force.
Theory-laden Observations
Determinism is the rule in the world, until a life form selects an impinging activity.
A ball rolling down a hill continues to follow its calculated path unless a person, dog, or cat decides to intercept it.
Each living mind is a center of free will action amid a world of determinism.
An action in motion continues in motion until acted on by a freely chosen action.
Codicil to Newton's 1st Law: And some
of those forces are applied by freely choosing agents.
