Gerrymander to the Supreme Court
When is some smart lawyer going to make the argument to the Supreme Court that gerrymandering is disenfranchising many citizens? It’s separating representation from voter’s wishes.
E.g. Pennsylvania: 13 republicans and 5 democrats.
Yet in house races, the people voted 50.7% democratic and 49.3% republican.
E.g. North Carolina: 9 republicans and 4 democrats.
Yet in house races, the people voted 50.6% democratic and 48.7% republican.
