Trump 2.0 Reasoning
Is Trump making moves that hindsight will see as brilliant? Are we heading to a capo ruling the United States of America? Is a foreign power manipulating these actions?
Let’s consider some major actions Trump has initiated since reclaiming the presidency.

- Placed many unqualified persons to Cabinet positions. Loyalty to Trump over the Constitution has been the key ingredient in their acceptability to him.
- Authorized Elon Musk to arbitrarily cut programs authorized by Congress and ignore legal rules that ensure the firing are for actual waste, fraud, or abuse by the employee.
- Removed Inspector Generals (IGs) of US federal departments ignoring notification of Congress and show cause. Those IGs are obvious sources of information where fraud, excess, and waste exist in agencies.
- Antagonized allies arbitrarily and unnecessarily, when discussing intercountry relationships involving national security, trade, drugs, and immigration.
- Initiated a trade war with tariffs that will lead to higher prices and lower economic performance in all involved countries.
- Contrary to all facts, claimed that Ukraine started the war with Russia, that Zelinsky was a dictator, and stop assistance to the invaded country.
- Ordered intelligence agencies to stop investigating Russian governmental operations.
Three reasons for those Trump’s actions ranked from most likely to least likely.
- Trump wants the US to be in charge of all actions in the Western Hemisphere, with Canada and Mexico paying tribute to his treasury.
- The rest of Central and South America should follow suit, although perhaps through lieutenants in Mexico and Brazil. Those details are unimportant as long as the tribute flows through Mar-a-Lago.
- Russia’s Vladamir Putin has some extremely damaging personal information on Donald Trump that forces him to perform Putin’s objectives.
- Weaken the US, enfeeble NATO, and allow Putin free reign in his bailiwick.
- Trump believes in novel political, economic, and interrelationship theories with a desire to strengthen the United States.
- Regardless of the success or failure of those policies, citizens will have lost the US democracy, as the rule of law and the Bill of Rights are replaced by Trump’s values and beliefs.
